Lipomas are slow-growing soft lumps that may move slightly if you press on them. They're not usually painful. You can get them anywhere on your body.

Lipomas can be removed at a private clinic but this is not usually offered on the NHS.

Lipomas are harmless fatty lumps that grow under your skin. They do not usually need any treatment, but you should always get them checked.
