Nipple discharge
Overview
If you have nipple discharge, the GP will examine you. They may refer you for further tests, such as a mammogram (breast X-ray) and a biopsy.
Possible causes of nipple discharge include pregnancy or breastfeeding, a blocked or enlarged milk duct, or a breast infection (mastitis).
