Symptoms of a high temperature can include your chest or back feeling hot, sweating and shivering (chills).

To treat high temperature, there are things you can do such as getting lots of rest, drinking plenty of water to keep hydrated and taking paracetamol.

A high temperature is usually caused by your body fighting an infection, such as a cold or flu.

A high temperature (fever) is usually considered to be 38C or above. It's not usually serious and there are things you can do yourself to treat it.
