Long-sightedness
Overview
Symptoms of long-sightedness include finding it hard to see nearby things, tired eyes after tasks like reading, and headaches.
Long-sightedness is treated with glasses or contact lenses. Some people may be able to get laser treatment to correct their vision.
Long-sightedness is caused by the eyes not focusing properly. This can be because of the shape of your eyes, or due to aging.
Long-sightedness may lead to other vision problems if left untreated. Young children are more likely to develop a squint or lazy eye.
Long-sightedness is where you find it hard to see nearby things, but can see things far away clearly.
