Moles
Overview
Most harmless moles are round with a smooth edge. A mole that’s a mix of colours, an uneven shape, bleeding or itchy is more likely to be cancerous.
The best way to help stop moles turning cancerous is to limit your skin’s exposure to sun and regularly apply a high-factor sunscreen.
Moles are small, coloured spots on the skin. They are usually nothing to worry about. See a GP if a mole changes size, shape or colour.
