Symptoms of nasal polyps include a blocked or runny nose, a reduced sense of smell or taste, and snoring.

Nasal polyps are usually treated with steroid nose drops or sprays. Surgery to remove the polyps may be needed if steroids do not work.

If you have nasal polyps, you can buy a steroid nasal spray from a pharmacy or use a salt water wash to help unblock your nose.

It's not clear what causes nasal polyps, but you may be more likely to get them if you have asthma or an intolerance or sensitivity to aspirin.

Nasal polyps are painless soft growths inside your nose. They're not usually serious, but they can keep growing and block your nose if not treated.
