Type 1 diabetesSharing blood glucose data with your team

In some diabetes clinics, you can share your blood glucose readings with your team online.

They use a system that can save information from most blood glucose meters, pumps or continuous glucose monitors (CGMs).

This means:

  • your team can see your blood glucose data and give you advice without you going to the clinic
  • you can look for patterns to help you have more stable blood glucose levels
  • you can look at patterns with your team during appointments
  • you don't have to upload data to an app yourself or write numbers in a book

Ask your diabetes team if they use the data sharing system, such as Diasend, and if it'll work with your meter, pump or CGM.
