Farting (flatulence) is when you pass gas from your bottom.
Farting is usually only a problem if you feel you fart a lot or you also have other symptoms, like bleeding from your bottom.
Exercising regularly and changing your diet can help reduce farting. Get advice from a GP if it does not get better or you also have other symptoms.
Excessive or smelly farting is often caused by swallowing air or eating foods that are difficult to digest.
