Glandular feverOverview

Glandular fever is an infection that's spread through spit. It's sometimes called "mono" or the "kissing disease".

The main symptoms of glandular fever include extreme tiredness, swollen glands in your neck and a high temperature.

Glandular fever usually gets better by itself. You can ease the symptoms by getting plenty of rest, drinking plenty of fluids and taking painkillers.

To avoid spreading glandular fever, wash your hands regularly, do not kiss others and do not share cups, cutlery or towels.
