Symptoms of low blood pressure can include dizziness, feeling sick, feeling weak, blurred vision, confusion or fainting.

Low blood pressure can be diagnosed by having a blood pressure check at a pharmacy, GP surgery or at home.

Treatment for low blood pressure depends on the cause. If it's caused by medicines your GP may need to change the type you take or your dose.

There are things you can do to help with symptoms of low blood pressure. For example, get up slowly when you've been sitting or lying down.

Low blood pressure has many possible causes. It may be due to getting older, a medical condition or taking certain medicines.

Low blood pressure is a reading of less than 90/60mmHg. It does not always cause symptoms or need treatment.
