There are things you can do to help with jet lag. Get plenty of rest before you travel, and try to change your schedule to the new time zone quickly.

Jet lag often improves after a few days without treatment. Medicines are not usually needed unless symptoms are severe.

Symptoms of jet lag include difficulty sleeping at bedtime and waking up in the morning, tiredness and problems with concentration and memory.

Jet lag is when your sleep pattern is disturbed after a long flight, causing tiredness or difficulty sleeping. It usually improves within a few days.
